1928- steamboat willie  (1st mickey mouse)
1937- snow white and the seven dwarfs..distributed by RKO..box office of $7 million. as DVD wasn't invented at this time the movie was re-released in the cinema in years 1944..1953

he discovered that feature films of the cinema was what brought excited the audience the most. snow white was so famous it was translated into 20 different languages..international release. when asked what made his movies so famous.. walt says "everyone was once a child and when adults watch his movies they recall that nostalgic feel".
