Press Freedom-in the Uk the press is Free and believe this is the fundamental to a democrartc society. nevertheless everyone's entitled to free speech and an opinion, hence why newspapers may be biased or have certain strong views based on the journalist.

disadvantages of free press- they're abusing people's privacy (phone hacking scandal)
manipulating people leading to hatred

left wing- labour party..progressive and aim to support those who can't support themselves, believe in taxes to redistribute it equally to the government such as paying tax to the nhs and education. protecting women, gay people and ethnic minorities. also the green party is left wing. they believe in taxing rich people more. Government should be involved in helping us.

right wing- conservative, UKIP. (WANTING TO SEPERATE FROM THE EU). They value traditional, survival of the fittest and they believe in economic freedom. we should be more independent.  Government should stay out of our business.

The Guardian presents the story of the NHS which is funded through taxes and the government giving everyone free health care, this crisis is acknowledged by the guardian and states the importance which is quite left wing. as they want to improve  the lives of the working class.
